Ameriški black/death metalci Altar Of Gore bodo 17. maja pri Nameless Grave Records izdali album Litanies of the Unceasing Agonies. Komad Destined for the Pit je bil včeraj premierno predstavljen na portalu MetalSucks, sicer pa sta na voljo za poslušanje vsega skupaj že dva komada od sedmih:

Melodična metalcore/post-hardcore zasedba InVisions je objavila video za novi single Dissimulate.

Deathcorovci Chelsea Grin sporočajo, da je vrzel na bobnarskem stolčku zapolnil Josh Miller. Zasedba se je pred kratkim razšla z bobnarjem Pablom Viverosom in tako je nov polnopravni član zasedbe postal Josh. Izjava banda:

»We hope everyone has been doing well; we have some updates. We have parted ways with our fill-in drummer, Nathan Pearson. We sincerely value his friendship, as well as his devotion to furthering his craft and bringing his all to the stage. We truly look forward to watching his drumming career continue to blossom and advance, and value his time with us.

Furthermore, the band and Pablo have mutually agreed to separate. Pablo is one of our oldest friends, the life of the party, a masterful player, and a powerful creative. After Pablo spent some years away from the band, we all came together and realized that personal visions had diverged through time. We will always wish the very best for him, and seriously value all that he brought not only to the band, but to our lives. Nothing but tremendous love for him, always. We also encourage everyone to show support for him, Jaek and Alex’s new band, Ameonna.

Moving forward, we are proud and excited to announce that Josh Miller will be joining Chelsea Grin. It goes without saying that the future is bright – you will hear it in our music and witness it in our performances.

Avstrijski simfonični metalci Visions Of Atlantis sporočajo, da se oktobra odpravljajo na turnejo po Evropi. Turneja, ki jo je band poimenoval Armada, se bo nam najbliže ustavila prav z zadnjim koncertom 26. oktobra v Gradcu. Druge datume turneje si lahko ogledate na priloženi sliki.

Švedska progresivna death metal zasedba Carnosus sporoča, da je sklenila sodelovanje z Willowtip Records. Poleg naznanitve nove založbe band še sporoča, da bo kmalu začel z delom na tretjem albumu:

Organizatorji festivala Transcending Visions Fest sporočajo, da bodo na naslednji ediciji festivala nastopili italijanski black 'n' roll manijaki Whiskey Ritual.

Po uspešni letošnji ediciji festivala so pred kratkim organizatorji sporočili, da Transcending Visions Fest naslednje leto bo, zdaj pa so naznanili tudi že prve bande. To so melodični black metalci Naglfar s Švedske in slovaški ambientali post black metalci Autumn Nostalgie.

Na voljo pa so že tudi festivalske vstopnice.

Nizozemski psihedelični rokerji Dool so ob zimskem solsticiju lani nastopili v rotterdamski cerkvi Arminius, odigrani set pa bodo na letošnji predbožični večer izdali kot koncertni album Visions of Summerland (Live at Arminius Church Rotterdam). Založba Prophecy Productions, ki bo album izdala 24. decembra, za pokušino predstavlja koncertni posnetek skladbe Oweynagat.

Nemški black metal dvojec Alasteth predstavlja komad Faded Glory s prihajajočega albuma The Nihilism of Alasteth. Band je komad pospremil z videospotom, album pa izide 12. oktobra. Tracklista:
